TNOC Festival, a virtual event taking place from 22-26 February 2021, spans 5 days with programming across all regional time zones, providing multiple languages, and offering local and global scales, pretending to outreach a much broader perspective and participation than any one physical meeting in any one city could ever have achieved.

Monday, February 22
NATURA Thematic Working Groups: Meeting Goals within Future Cities Dialogue / 2:45PM - 3:45PM EST
Hear from 4 of NATURA's Thematic Working Groups (Urban Nature, Design for Justice, Urban Informality, and Global to Local) on who their groups are, what they are working on, and key goals and outcomes in a dialogue format! After these groups briefly go over who they are, there will be a period of discussion based on 3 core questions. Reimagining the binational border: Tijuana River watershed / 2:45PM - 4:15PM EST 
5 speakers will present a perspective of urban informality in the border city of Tijuana Baja California, Mexico, and thier experiences and challenges in order to visualize possible articulations for the application of NBS as a response to social innovation and resilience.

Urban development intersections with nature and informality (intercontinental dialogue) / 2:45PM - 4:15PM EST 
A panel of international practitioners on NBS will provide a global perspective on urban informality using the city of Bogota, Colombia, as a stepping stone for discussion about how different cities around the world address the intersection of urban development and informal dynamics, tracing parallels or differences

RECNET presented the approach and vision from the experience of #ActionForTransformation #AgencyOverInformality in Altos de la Estancia, Bogotá, Colombia
Taking advantage of demands and capacities from population and crossing them with institutional potential services, to build up a common territorial communitarian/institutional development agenda. Institutional capacities where enhanced to operate the projects and the offer of services required by the community and the recuperation process; communities where fostered to get organized and then promoted to be entrepreneurship for the recuperation process.
